Happy new year
New Year
Hello Everyone.
I’ve decided to stop being so mysterious and start communicating what I’m up to more with you all. Through the years, I’ve documented on the fly and posted on IG, but this is my first attempt at writing more than a few hashtags so you get a fuller picture of my lifelong journey making art. It’s been a decade of taking it all very seriously and for the most part, rejecting all construction projects. I’ve been focused one hundred percent on making museum quality art. So much has happened, I don’t know where to start so I’m gonna keep it simple for now and share a few of the highlights and victories from 2023.
As many of you know, for 20 years I have been battling chronic illness which culminated last year with a cancer diagnosis. It was quite a shock as I had been working so hard to get well for so many years. I sometimes think that the cancer was discovered on it’s way out my body (maybe it was there the whole time…?) The good news is that it is in remission now, thanks to God, clean, organic food, deep emotional healing of old traumas and of course, the unrelenting support of my gorgeous, loving wife. Oh, did I forget to tell you?! I got hitched! We were probably one of the first “Covid Marriages” in the state of California. “Love in the time of Corona” (we’re both Marquez fans)! She has changed my life and the way I look at the world and you are now experiencing Christopher Lewis, version 2.0
On top of all that, I actually did manage to make some art and every piece I’ve done has been the latest and the greatest. This year especially has driven me to complete security in my heart that I am doing the right thing. I completed several pieces, which I’ll write about in a seperate post with more details. For now, I will leave you with a pic of my latest commissioned piece and a photo of Ms. Hoda Mohajerani & me.
Happy New Year and God bless you all! Let’s all be thankful for what we got (cue the William DeVaughn!)
Love, love…

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
